![]() ![]() I don’t think it’s mostly their fault (trying to lie about the scratch was), they were trying to be polite but I think it’s the general Oakley policy that you have to keep the box to make your return is absolutely laughable from such a company. Went back 10 days later so they’d forget me, went in and said “I found the box” and voila, they let me to an exchange (apparently the scratch had disappeared?). I left the store, wrote to customer service, GOT NO REPLY? and then ended up finding the cardboard box that they were sold in. I told them that was unacceptable from such a high end brand (buying the same Oakley knock off costs around $50 btw) that charges premium prices, so they came up with a story that there was a small scratch on the glasses – I tried looking for it and didn’t find it, I insisted that they show me and they kept pointing at nothing, simply lying their way out. Two managers went away, had a look at the glasses and returned and they said they couldn’t do it without the box. They asked me for the BOX, yes the small 3 cent worth CARDBOARD BOX that the glasses are sold in. After 2 months, and only 2 or 3 times wearing them for short periods, because my gf didn’t like them, I decided to return them and not even get my money back but get a more expensive replacement. ![]() Oakley, I thought, was a great, quality brand and they said I had 3 months to return the product if I wished. ![]() Ever heard of a term legal robbery? Well basically I bought $180 sunglasses. ![]()
